It's pretty bad when you have to become your own first blog responder! But, got to get this thing rolling, somehow. But Facesmack just doesn't "cut" it for me, as one-liners just don't give me enough elbow room! And the font is so small, I keep steaming up my monitor screen--but then again, my computer is here in my bedroom, and that is the only steamy thing to happen in here for some time now, so--maybe not so bad after all. Now, do remember that I am a "book writer" so don't expect my entries to be short! But I do love sharing, so I hope you will join me here, often...Well, it's really cold today, so stay warm, upright, alert, aware and focusing, so you can have the best day yet! Much love from Charlene Potterbaum, aka as "ol' Lady Sew n Sew" of the quilting world of Elkhart County!
oh, good heavens...it's me again. Feels kinda like I am talking to myself...but, I want to see if a second comment "locks" the first one into place, then I have to get lunch. I have the dog trained for eating only one meal a day, but haven't had such luck with Gene. Well, let's see what happens when I post this drivel....
Thank you! I am thrilled by your loyalty! Just a few more and I will, by then, have come up with something profound to say! The "enlightning" thing for today would be,--how wonderful it feels on the inside when you start "cleansing" the interior of the home you live in! Removing clutter and organizing the rest--helps to establish clarity on the inside, as well...funny how that works. I am always amazed at how long I can take to really get down to business, putting it off as though it was some huge chore...but once I get into it, find out how much fun it is, and start referring to it as NOT work...but a Project (projects are more fun because they have a beginning and and ending....WORK just seem like something that goes on forever and ever, and never gets done)...but projects show progress, improvement, and gender feelings of worth. Let's see--what shall I tackle next?....
Ah, dear mesmerized followers! (At least I have more now, than I can count on one hand!)-- Awhile ago, I startled Eric by stating, "Eric, have I ever mentioned to you, that your grandmother NEVER makes mistakes any more?" Well, as he was considering the degree of senility, etc--he, after rolling his eyes, said, "Uh--Gram, uh--that's pretty wonderful...mmm--now, how do you figure that? Because we are all human, so we all--uh, make mistakes"I looked wise and said,"Well, rest at ease...no more mistakes for me. Because, if you make a mistake, you feel 'less' or, somehow, not acceptable, and very inferior. HOWEVER, I do need to mention that I have an awful lot of LEARNING EXPERIENCES! But, Wow--what a difference! A Learning Experience is just a little messenger, telling you that you need to 'reach higher' or re-focus, or get into alignment with Spirit, or--relief, because you have learned something you won't easily forget...well, ALL of these things feel up-lifting and helpful, now don't they? And your're dear ol' Granny has chosen to 'feel good, no matter what'--so, by golly...no more mistakes for this ol' gal!" And we had a real good laugh over it all...but the gist of this is still true...a learning experience sits better on the heart than mistakes do. They seem to perch on the low-esteem branch which is so much lower to the ground, rather than the 'feel good' branch that is way up high, enjoying the breezes and sweeter fruit...well, maye you'd've had to have been there to appreciate all this...hmmm...Love, Char
